After obtaining Glory of the Ulduar Raider--some of the more challenging as well as tedious achievements therein, it's safe to say that it was worth the effort for a 310% flying mount.

With the Rusted Proto-Drake and the heroic version of the Ironbound Proto-Drake presumably slated for removal at the release of patch 3.2, this may be the incentive that achievement-junkies need to push through Ulduar hard modes as soon as possible.

Currently, it appears that K I N E T I C and Fatum Imperium have been getting some attempts in on the normal version of Algalon the Observer, while Emend and Internet Champions make preparations for their first encounter.

As far as Heroic Ulduar achievements go, several guilds are making steady progress towards Heroic: Glory of the Ulduar Raider. The most recent achievements include:

• Internet Champions with 4 Towers on July 1, 2009


• Causality with Hodir's Rare Cache on July 2, 2009


• Fatum Imperium with 3 Keepers on July 2, 2009

Hopefully, this means that the Ironbound Proto-Drake is still within reach before the next patch.
