Gilneas
Blizzard Poster:
At this time, the nation of Gilneas which stands behind the Greymane Wall remains a secluded mystery. One day we may see the portcullis and the region open to visitors and explorers alike, but we do not know when or if that day will come. Source.
The Kingdom of Gilneas is a human nation located in the peninsula directly south of Silverpine Forest on the continent of Lordaeron. The kingdom was founded following the breaking of Arathor and is ruled by the Greymane dynasty. Besides the peninsula, the kingdom also included the island of Zul'Dare.
One Hero class per expansion
Blizzard Poster:
Keep in mind this is hopefully the first Hero Class we implement and not the last. Though the idea of adding more of them will be more along the lines of one per expansion if all works out well. So, while it's great that people have ideas of more hero classes they'd like to see, we'd like to see people keep in mind that we aren't going to be adding a lot of them all at once. Source.
Naxxramas in Northrend
Blizzard Poster:
Our current plan is to retune the whole of Naxxramas to fit our current 25 person model and to make it the first 25 person dungeon in Wrath of the Lich King, kind of like Gruul’s Lair is for The Burning Crusade. The encounters will be designed to fit this roll and we believe this will allow a much wider range of people to experience it.
Along with this, the armor models that were used in the original Naxxramas might be reused as a new tier of armor. They were designed to feel like what you would find in this type of dungeon and they really did a great job of it.
We'll provide more information on this when we can, but keep in mind that all plans are subject to change. Source.
Mal'Ganis in CoT Stratholme
Blizzard Poster:
Anytime you killed Mal’Ganis in the Stratholme level of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos, you only succeeded in slowing him down. His body would reform shortly thereafter to continue taunting Arthas and encourage him to take the path of insanity and power.
No matter what happens to Mal’Ganis in the upcoming Caverns of Time instance, his mission to drive Arthas to Frostmourne will not be undone. Source.
Spectral Tiger Mount and Goblin Gumbeaux Kettle changes in 2.2
Blizzard Poster:
Goblin Gumbeaux Kettle is being changed in 2.2, as is the Spectral Tiger Mount. I don't have the changes in front of me but from memory the one hour cooldown is remaining, but anyone will be able to loot from it, it will provide unlimited pots of gumbeaux, and the pot will remain on the ground for three minutes.
