This realm is presently in need of a few good people to serve as Realm Administrators. Ideally the team would consist of one or two players from each faction. If you think you might be interested in this position, please follow the Apply as Administrator link to your left. Or, if you know of someone you think might be suited for the position, then by all means, send him or her here as well. Be sure to read the associated sticky thread in the forum before applying.

In the meantime this realm is being overseen by the World Administrators of Realm History. The World Administrators are a team of individuals that have volunteered to help maintain the notes submitted by players on realms with no current administration. It is because of this that updates on such realms are sporadic at best.

So, what can you do to help?
Updating is a simple enough procedure, but sometimes the notes we receive are quite a mess. Here are a few pointers in how and what to submit in the notes.

Adding Guilds:
- Make certain that the guild name reflects the name as seen inside the game.
- Be sure to give an adequate description of your guild: PvP, PvE, hardcore, casual, etc. This lets others know the kind of guild you are a part of, in case they find themselves wanting to apply.
- Include a complete URL to your guild’s website.
- If a guild disbands, please use the Other Comment option on the Submit Information form to let us know.

Adding Boss Kills:
- The only kill date we need is the first kill your guild/group logs against a boss.
- Always include a kill date with a first kill. Kill dates are important in not only ranking your guild on your own server, but also ranking your guild with others across the world.
- Make sure you cover all bosses in the raid instance. In most cases you will have needed to kill everyone previously to access the final boss.
- Try to avoid listing a boss in subsequent notes. An Admin may overwrite a previous kill with a, possibly, inaccurate listing, which in turn downranks your guild.

Guild Recruitment:
- You are free to be as descriptive as you like with this note. Everything you include with the note will appear in the recruitment listing.

Rare Crafts:
- If you choose to list yourself, please keep your information updated.
- If you know of a crafter who has transferred from the realm, please make a note of it using the Other Comment option on the Submit Information form.

It is worth mentioning that Guild Recruitment and Rare Crafter notes are the quickest to update, as those notes come with an Instant Update option for Administrators.

Again, however, we would much rather see members of this realm serving as the Administrators. As active members of the realm, you are much better suited to the position than a random World Administrator passing through on a round of updates. So please, consider becoming a Realm Administrator for your realm.

Finally available after this week's maintenance -- maintenance which will last twelve hours straight, between 2am and 2pm. Here are a few of the more important updates.

Arena:
- Season 4 ends. Titles will be awarded just as before.
- There will be no Arena Points reset coming with this patch.
- There will be no Honor Points reset or battleground marks reset coming with this patch, nor WotLK.
- Dalaran Arena and Orgrimmar Arena added to the game.
- New honor rewards: cloaks and trinkets.

Content additions:
- WotLK class changes and revamped talent trees added. Talent points will be reset.
- Inscription added. Inscription is a profession which allows the augmentation of your spells and abilities through the creation of Glyphs. The gathering profession accompanying Inscription is Herbalism.
- Stormwind Harbor added. From it one will be able to board for Auberdine and, come WotLK, Northrend.
- Mounts and non-combat pets become trainable spells, accessible through the Character Panel.
- Barbershops added.
- Improved graphical effects, amongst which the infamous shadow engine, added.
- The Caverns of Time zone modified to accommodate the Caverns of Time: Stratholme instance entrance; the instance zone is not available at this time.
- Badges of Justice and PvP Tokens become available through the Token Interface; translation: more bad space.
- The amount of experience needed between levels 60 and 70 is now lowered.

Content removed:
- Onyxia quest chain removed.
- Atiesh quest chain removed.
- Naxxramas removed from Eastern Plaguelands.
- Hand of A'dal and Champion of the Naaru titles unobtainable anymore.
- Zul'aman's bear mounts unobtainable anymore.

Raid mechanics changed:
- Mechanics of buffs, debuffs and auras changed according to Blizzard's new philosophy in regards to class stacking.
- Raid instances added in the Burning Crusade have all their npcs reduced in health by 30% and their melee damage is toned down, while most boss abilities are kept -- notable exception: Illidan Stormrage's Shear is removed.

Item revamps:
- Huge change in regards to Healing and Spell damage. These two stats are removed, their place being taken by Spell Power. Items and enchants adding school specific damage will be revamped so as to add Spell Power; notable exceptions: Soulfrost, Deathfrost, Sunfire. Talents and spells modified to accommodate the new stat.
- Tanking items for warriors and paladins revamped so as to reflect the new tanking mechanics.
