As was reported yesterday, November 1 was the Running of the Bulls, sponsored and organized by Divided Loyalties. The event was a huge success, with twenty-five level one taurens making the trek from Red Cloud Mesa to Booty Bay.

There were several alliance characters that caused a lot of delays for the pvp flagged tauren, particularly a gnome warrior and dwarf priest, both of whom managed to wipe out almost the entire herd before being taken down by protectors.

I had a chance to talk to Charimaa, one of the organizers from Divided Loyalties, and she had this to say about starting the event:

"We decided that with the recent unstable server instances and with the expansion coming out and people trying hard to earn money we thought it'd be a fun way to promote our name, and to give a chance to anyone to earn some money and have a bit of fun."

Charimaa also went on to mention that other events might be coming in the future, though there are no definitive plans, as of yet.

When all was said and done, almost all of the original group made it to Booty Bay and everyone involved - whether watching, attacking, defending, or running - had a great time.

Ensidia confirms expectations and slays Algalon on Heroic for the first time in the world.

It is not an easy fight, it's highly gear dependent and is a significant difficulty increase over the 10 man version. Weirdly enough the kill really wasn't a great try! We had been having no trouble at all keeping tanks alive, wiping mainly to enrage and random deaths. One chaotic try later though we managed to bring him down.

Last week was really nail biting with 5 tries under 10% including a wipe at 4% (he gives up at about 3%). We decided to just get into the instance asap and just kill him today to finish the job.
